The features of the ULTITUBE D5 100 reservoir with D5-PWM pump in detail

The ULTITUBE D5 100 reservoir from aqua computer is equipped with a tube made of borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass, unlike commonly used plexiglass, has very high hardness and scratch resistance. It also has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and expands very little when heated.

Both ends of the glass tube are firmly connected with metal rings made of black anodized aluminum, which do not come into contact with the cooling medium. The clever design eliminates the need for internal struts or additional tubes. The lid and base of the ULTITUBE 100 D5 are made of durable acetal and are screwed to the aluminum rings and the tube.

The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm. The base of the reservoir features a filter made of stainless steel mesh. The filter retains particles and eliminates annoying air bubbles. The filter element is easily removable and can be cleaned under running water. The seal in the lid of the reservoir is designed as a rubber molded part for easy installation, ensuring secure positioning when the lid is screwed on.

At the bottom of the ULTITUBE D5 100 is already mounted a aqua computer D5-PWM pump. The pump is controllable via PWM signal, and a tachometer signal is available for monitoring the pump function. The pump is attached via an aluminum ring at the bottom of the reservoir. The reservoir can be mounted both on a side or back wall, as well as standing. Appropriate brackets and mounting hardware, as well as four soft rubber decouplers, are included in the package.

Note: Use of the reservoir without a pump is not possible.
