The ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO LEAKSHIELD Reservoir in Detail

A reservoir that protects your system. The ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO with LEAKSHIELD ensures that no liquid from your water cooling system leaks onto your hardware thanks to its negative pressure. It also continuously monitors the water loop for minor leaks, even before you start using the water cooling system.



The ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO Reservoir also supports you with filling your system with water once you connect a suction line or monitor the reservoir’s water level thanks to LEAKSHIELD.

A powerful pump for sophisticated custom water cooling systems

The aqua computer ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO LEAKSHIELD stands out by using borosilicate glass instead of acrylic, which is harder and more scratch-resistant. Additionally, it offers excellent chemical and thermal resistance and expands very little when exposed to heat.



The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm. A filter made of stainless steel mesh is integrated into the base of the reservoir. The filter retains particles and eliminates air bubbles. The filter element is easy to remove and can be cleaned under running water.



Both the top and base of the ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO are made from durable acetal and are screwed together with aluminium rings and the tube. Both ends of the glass tube are securely connected with metal rings made of black anodised aluminium. They do not come into contact with the coolant! This design eliminates the need for internal struts or additional tubes.

The Function of LEAKSHIELD

What does LEAKSHIELD do? It creates negative pressure in the entire cooling system. This means that when a leak occurs, no coolant escapes. Instead, air is sucked into the system. To ensure that negative pressure is maintained at every point in the loop, you must adjust the negative pressure based on your coolant pump.



If air enters the system, it is pumped out again by the integrated vacuum pump of the LEAKSHIELD, maintaining the negative pressure. Only in the event of large leaks, such as a completely detached hose, might coolant escape.

Powerful performance with the D5-NEXT Pump

A aqua computer D5 NEXT Pump is mounted directly at the bottom of the reservoir. The pump features an OLED display and numerous control and adjustment functions. The pump is mounted via an aluminium ring at the bottom of the reservoir.

Customise Your Pump with Colours

The package includes digitally addressable RGB-LED lighting in the form of an LED ring with 13 RGB-LEDs. The RGBpx ring can easily be slipped over the reservoir, illuminating the reservoir and the coolant. The silicone construction diffuses the LED light, minimising unsightly LED spots. The RGBpx ring has both an input and output, allowing multiple LED rings to be connected in a chain.
