ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E EXTREME: E-ATX motherboard with AMD AM5 socket and X870E chipset
The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E EXTREME is equipped with the high-end X870E chipset for AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series processors and offers numerous features for overclockers and gaming enthusiasts. The Ryzen 9000 processors also use the proven AM5 socket (LGA 1718).
Furthermore, the AMD X870E motherboard provides USB 4.0, which is now available as standard and achieves data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbit/s. In addition, the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E EXTREME supports PCIe 5.0, offering you twice the bandwidth for graphics cards and NVMe SSDs compared to PCIe 4.0.
Perfectly equipped for gaming
The motherboard is designed for overclocking so you can enjoy even demanding games. The voltage regulators provide stable power delivery to the CPU to guarantee its high clock speeds over a longer period. Clear CMOS allows you to easily reset these settings if something goes wrong. As usual, DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock speeds.
