Laing DDC pumps are among the elite of PC water pumps and are considered the benchmark for high-flow systems due to their enormous pressure. The only drawback is the non-standardized connections of the Laing, which is why numerous water cooling manufacturers offer alternative tops with G1/4-inch threads. The connection specialist Bitspower also offers a sleek, elegant top made of heat-resistant special plastic acetal (POM).
This upgrade kit described in this article is designed for exactly this top. It includes a reservoir as well as a top and bottom element made of red, but transparent, acrylic. The reservoir has a height of 150 mm.
