The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is a professional PCIe capture and playback card designed for film production, broadcasting, and demanding video workflows. Four bidirectional 12G-SDI connectors as well as HDMI 2.1 support formats from SD up to 8K. This allows for the capture, playback, and processing of high-resolution signals in multi-channel setups.

8K capture and playback at up to 60 fps

The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 supports SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD, 4K, and 8K. In 8K, frame rates of up to 60 fps are possible, while HD and 4K formats can be processed at up to 120 fps. This makes the card suitable for high-resolution film production, high-frame-rate recording, and professional post-production.

Four bidirectional 12G-SDI connectors

The four 12G-SDI ports can be configured as inputs or outputs depending on the workflow. Using the DeckLink SDK, up to four video streams can be used independently, each with different formats and frame rates up to 4K DCI 60p. Additionally, HDMI 2.1 is available as a video input and output.

High colour depth and HDR for professional workflows

The card supports 8- and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 as well as 10- and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with Rec. 2020. HDR workflows with HLG, PQ, and static HDR metadata are also supported. Up to 64 embedded audio channels can be transmitted over SDI in 4K and 8K. Connection to the computer is via PCIe 3.0 x8.
