The Fractal Design Era 2: Timeless Elegance Meets Uncompromising Design
The Fractal Design Era 2 is a compact mini-ITX case that combines the desire for aesthetics and performance. The certified walnut wood panel on the top is a real eye-catcher and provides a look that is both minimalist and elegant. It also offers ample space and optimal airflow for your hardware.
Thoughtful Design with High Functionality
The magnetic top panel and the frame can be easily removed without tools, making the installation of your hardware significantly faster and more enjoyable. An already pre-installed PCIe 4.0 riser cable also makes cable management easier for you.
Inside the case, motherboards up to mini-ITX can be installed. It supports graphics cards up to a length of 326 mm. The CPU cooler must not exceed a height of 70 mm. The case also supports the installation of up to four 2.5-inch drives.
The I/O panel of the case offers sufficient connections for your peripherals. In addition to two USB-A ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack, the panel features a USB-C port that achieves a transfer speed of up to 20 Gbit/s.
The position of the middle wall can be adjusted to achieve the optimal combination of maximum GPU width and CPU cooler height for your specific system. By shifting the middle wall, you can have a larger maximum GPU width. However, this may affect the height of the CPU cooler and vice versa.
Strong Cooling Performance in a Small Space
The Era 2 is optimised for excellent airflow and allows for direct airflow through the case thanks to the fan positioning. For cooling your CPU, the case supports radiators up to 280 mm in length.
Two pre-installed Aspect 12 PWM fans ensure reliable airflow from the bottom. Two additional 120 mm fans can be mounted as exhaust at the top.
