The MSI PRO A620AM-B EVO is equipped with the A620 chipset for AMD Ryzen processors of the 7000, 8000, and 9000 series and offers numerous features for gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and enhanced power delivery, the 600-series motherboards use the AM5 socket (LGA 1718).
Despite the increased number of pins, the actual size of the socket remains identical to older sockets, so most CPU coolers for the AM4 socket can also be mounted on the motherboard.
