Duronaut is a high-quality thermal paste developed with a focus on outstanding thermal conductivity and exceptional long-term stability. The name "Duronaut" is derived from the English word "durability" and emphasises its remarkable durability. This stability is achieved through a specially formulated silicone oil combined with aluminium microparticles and zinc oxide nanoparticles of various shapes. The optimised particle shapes and sizes minimise the so-called "pump-out effect", provide excellent adhesion to surfaces, and ensure an extremely low thermal resistance.
The optimised particle shapes and sizes allow Duronaut to be applied in very thin layers, which improves adhesion and further reduces thermal resistance. This thin application layer, combined with the high thermal conductivity of the aluminium micro- and zinc oxide nanoparticle mixture, ensures efficient heat transfer between the heat source (e.g., a CPU) and the cooler.
For optimal application, Duronaut is supplied with the TG Spatula Pro. The redesigned spatula allows for greater pressure during application, enabling the paste to be efficiently spread and achieving a thinner layer.
