Duronaut is a high-quality thermal paste developed with a focus on outstanding thermal conductivity and exceptional long-term stability. The name "Duronaut" is derived from the English word "durability," emphasising its extraordinary longevity. This stability is achieved through a specially formulated silicone oil combined with aluminium microparticles and zinc oxide nanoparticles of various shapes. The optimised particle shapes and sizes minimise the so-called "pump-out effect," ensure excellent adhesion to surfaces, and guarantee an extremely low thermal resistance.
The optimised particle shapes and sizes allow Duronaut to be applied in very thin layers, improving adhesion and further reducing thermal resistance. This thin application layer, combined with the high thermal conductivity of the aluminium micro and zinc oxide nanoparticle mixture, ensures efficient heat transfer between the heat source (e.g., a CPU) and the cooler.
For optimal application, Duronaut is supplied with the TG Spatula Pro. The revised design of the spatula allows for greater pressure during application, enabling the paste to be distributed efficiently and achieving a thinner layer.
