Thermal Grizzly from Hamburg is a German brand that has made it their mission to combat high temperatures and poor heat transfer. The aim is to supply the overclocking community with high-performance thermal products, which still represent a weak point - however, the product portfolio can also be used for better and quieter cooling of gaming computers, workstations, mini-PCs, and many other purposes. In addition to higher clock rates, better thermal products enable quieter cooling as well as a longer lifespan for the components being cooled.
To achieve these goals, Thermal Grizzly has closely collaborated with the well-known extreme overclocker Roman "der8auer" Hartung during product development and testing, developing chemical compositions and analysing competitors. The resulting products are extremely popular in the overclocking community.
The thermal paste named Kryonaut Extreme targets extreme overclockers with its outstanding thermal conductivity. As its name suggests, it is ideal for low-temperature cooling such as nitrogen or compressor cooling. Compared to the Kryonaut thermal paste, the finer base particles of the Kryonaut Extreme reduce the risk of "cracking" due to the high temperature differences during nitrogen cooling, which could impair thermal conductivity. The Kryonaut Extreme is suitable for particularly low temperatures down to -250 °C.
In a carrier structure, tin oxide components and particularly fine nano-aluminium oxide particles are embedded, which optimally compensate for unevenness on the surfaces of the heat source and heatsink while providing superior thermal conductivity. Additionally, the Kryonaut Extreme is characterised by the fact that it does not dry out even at a high temperature of 80 °C and is not electrically conductive.
The Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste comes in a syringe with 2 g content for approximately 6 applications - this naturally depends on the amount used and the skill of the user as well as the size of the CPU. The package also includes an applicator for precise application and distribution of the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme.
Caution! Please pay attention to the manufacturer's warnings before use!
