Thermal Grizzly from Hamburg is a new German brand dedicated to combating high temperatures and poor heat transfer. The goal is to supply the overclocking community with high-performance thermal products, which remain a weak point. However, the product portfolio can also be used for better and quieter cooling of gaming computers, workstations, mini-PCs, and many other purposes. In addition to higher clock rates, better thermal products allow for quieter cooling and longer lifespan of the cooled components.

To achieve these goals, Thermal Grizzly closely collaborated with the well-known extreme overclocker Roman "der8auer" Hartung during product development. They tested, developed chemical compositions, and analysed competitors. Now, the first product lines have been completed, meeting the highest standards of the manufacturer and the overclocking community.

The thermal paste named Kryonaut represents the pinnacle of their offerings. As its name suggests, it is ideally suited for low-temperature cooling such as nitrogen or compressor cooling, but it is just as effective between a CPU and an air or water cooler. Embedded in a carrier structure are aluminium and tin oxide components, which optimally compensate for surface irregularities on the heat source and cooler, providing outstanding thermal conductivity. Unlike many competing products, the Kryonaut does not begin to dry out even at 80 °C.

The Kryonaut thermal paste comes here as a 3-ml syringe with two applicators included. Using these applicators, a 27 x 27 mm area can be covered with an approximately 3 mm drop of paste, making the syringe sufficient for about 30 applications - of course, this depends on the individual application and skill.

that is a 6c difference, giving me an overall decease of 13c in total. this may not seem much, but when you consider that this is a 23% drop i temperature that will give a lot more overclocking headroom. it also means that a single tower cooler like this can match or exceed the performance of a dual tower cooler or aio that could be using the stock fans and paste.

Ein Temperaturunterschied von circa 4K. Das dürfte sich für einige durchaus einen Wechsel der Wlp lohnen. Roman hat ja bereits seinen Vergleich der Wärmeleitpasten erneuert und auch die Thermal Grizzly mit integriert. Sobald dieser veröffentlicht wird könnt ihr eure derzeit benutzte Wlp besser im Vergleich zu Grizzly einschätzen. Mir ging es nur um einen Vergleich dieser beiden Pasten und für mich ist ein klarer Sieger erkennbar. Dazu kommt noch die deutlich einfachere Verteilung der Grizzly, einzig der Preis wird hier den Markt noch erschrecken können, dies wird sich aber erst noch zeigen.
