After all, with the latest Expansion Stage 11 of the Straight Power Series, they have presented a power supply that is more than just a new revision with minor detail improvements. be quiet! has once again brought a product to the market that has been significantly upgraded in terms of efficiency, layout, and variety of connections - and it runs whisper-quiet once again.

Efficient power supply of the highest class

The Straight Power Series already stood for high quality. It represents the broad mid-range of be quiet! and is offered in many power levels, with and without cable management. This means that a suitable model is available for almost every requirement. All models share a common PSU housing, which, with its anthracite finish and unusual fan grille, also takes on a special role visually.

In all power levels of the Straight Power 11, proprietary 135mm fans from the Silent Wings 3 series are used, which are additionally decoupled by an advanced frame design. Decoupling and lower speed with a large fan diameter mean that the Straight Power 11s operate even quieter than their predecessors. At this model, a maximum of 25 dB(A) is quite a number and practically inaudible for an average ear outside the case.

Performance increase thanks to high-quality components

When it comes to efficiency, the Straight Power 11 series also does not compromise and remains 80 PLUS Gold certified. The power supply offers a fantastic efficiency of up to 93 percent (!) - something that not many manufacturers have achieved so far, especially not in the mid-range segment. The standby power consumption has been further reduced and is usually around 0.12 Watts. Therefore, the Straight Power PSUs are not only top in terms of performance but also in terms of environmental preservation and household savings.

These outstanding values are due, among other things, to the exclusive use of high-quality Japanese 105-degree Celsius electrolytic capacitors and solid capacitors in the Straight Power 11. In addition, new half-bridges with LLC resonant converters are now being used. The fully modular cable management ensures better ventilation of the power supply and thus a longer lifespan. With these improvements, be quiet! has increased all power levels by 50 watts and even provided a version with a whopping 850 Watts.

With 850 Watts, this is a top model of the series. Accordingly, it has four independent 12-volt lines that provide a combined 70.8 amperes and 849.6 watts. A 20+4-pin ATX and a 4+4- as well as an 8-pin EPS cable supply energy to the motherboard. For the graphics card(s), four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors are available, and eleven SATA and four Molex connectors supply the peripherals.
