    Flexible Tubing Cutting Kits

    Although hoses can be cut with a knife or scissors, the edges of the hose will not be nearly as straight and even as with a hose cutter. If the edges are not even, this can lead to the hose not fitting optimally at the connection, causing coolant to eventually leak or the hose to slip off if it is under too much strain. Hose cutters work similarly to a cigar cutter.
