If you are looking for a mechanical gaming keyboard, you have come to the right place. At Caseking, you will find the largest selection of mechanical keyboards with optimal typing experience, fast response times, and stunning designs.
What Is a Mechanical Keyboard?
A mechanical keyboard is equipped with mechanical key switches (switches). Their characteristics vary depending on the switch type.
What Are the Advantages of Mechanical Keyboards?
Mechanical keyboards are the best choice for gamers around the world, and for good reason: their mechanical switches are highly reliable, precise, and versatile. Every keystroke is accurately registered, giving you full control while gaming and typing. Not only that, but mechanical switches are also durable, as each one is designed for millions of keystrokes.
Mechanical keyboards set standards in every respect, especially in terms of haptics. They simply feel better than rubber dome keyboards.

The Cherry MX Red switches have an easy-to-trigger and non-tactile actuation point. Therefore, the switches are suitable for fast multiple clicks and are often the first choice for gamers. Many CS:GO professional players use them. However, they are less suitable for typing as accidental inputs often occur due to the lack of resistance.
The beloved all-rounder MX Brown has a soft actuation point and provides a gentle, tactile feedback upon actuation. The actuation points are close together, allowing multiple clicks to be triggered in quick succession. MX Browns are considered a middle ground between Reds and Blues.
Cherry MX Blue switches have a very precise actuation point and provide tactile and audible feedback. MX Blue are especially suitable for heavy typists. The clicking creates a typewriter-like feeling. However, MX Blues are less suitable for gamers, as the relatively heavy actuation point compared to MX Reds can be a disadvantage.
Cherry MX Clear switches are similar to the brown Cherry switches but require 10 grams more actuation force. When pressing the keys, a resistance must be overcome that is noticeable, although there is no audible feedback. The MX Clear switches are also good all-rounders, but have a more pronounced actuation point.
The MX Black switches are well-suited for first-person shooters, offering high precision due to the high actuation force. They are comparable to MX Reds but have a stronger actuation point. While MX Reds require only 45 g, MX Blacks require 55 g. This makes the switches better suited for typing.
Cherry MX Silent & RGB
Both the Cherry MX Silent switches and the RGB versions are merely further developments of the existing models.
