The discreet aluminium case and individually sleeved cables of the Dark Power 13 provide a minimalist and elegant appearance. A particular eye-catcher is the full-surface, fine-mesh fan grille. The large grille facilitates air exchange. Directly behind it sits a frameless Silent Wings fan with a diameter of 135 mm. Together with the funnel-shaped air intake, it cools the power supply almost silently.

To achieve the maximum efficiency of an astonishing 95.8 percent, only top-quality electronics are used. The high-end power supply uses premium Japanese capacitors certified for operating temperatures of 105 °C. A fully digital control and Full-Bridge LLC technology ensure regulation and ripple at world-class levels. In single-rail mode, the 12V line offers a combined current of 110 amps at a total rated power of 744 watts. In multi-rail mode, each of the four individual lines provides 25 or 30 amps respectively.
