The GIGABYTE X670 Gaming X AX V2 is equipped with the high-end X670 chipset for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors and offers numerous features for enthusiasts and gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 processors require a new socket due to PCIe 5.0 support and enhanced power delivery, the 600-series motherboards use the AM5 socket (LGA 1718).
Despite the higher pin count of AM5, the actual socket size remains identical to the previous generation, so most CPU coolers for the AM4 socket can also be mounted on this motherboard.
The GIGABYTE X670 Gaming X AX V2 is designed for gaming, ensuring you can enjoy demanding games without interruptions. The high-quality 14+2 phase, 60 A voltage regulators provide stable power delivery to the CPU, guaranteeing high clock speeds over extended periods. Additional features include BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS, allowing you to restore the PC if something goes wrong. As usual, DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock speeds.
