The be quiet! Light Base 500 LX mid-tower offers the perfect balance between size and functionality. With plenty of room for high-performance hardware and efficient cooling, it is the ideal choice for gaming and workstation builds.
Extensive cooling options with fans and radiators
To cool your hardware under any load, the be quiet! Light Base 500 LX can accommodate up to ten fans simultaneously. The top supports three 120mm or two 140mm fans. On the side, three 120mm fans can be installed, while the bottom can hold three 120mm fans. There is also space for a 120mm or 140mm fan at the rear.
Out of the box, you get four pre-installed 120 mm fans – three Light Wings LX Reverse on the side and one Light Wings LX at the rear. All fans support customizable RGB lighting.
An AiO water cooling system can also be easily installed if you prefer to cool your powerful hardware with water cooling. There is space at the top (up to 360mm), on the side (up to 240mm), and at the rear (up to 120mm) for radiators.
Installing your hardware
The case offers enough space for high-performance gaming hardware. It supports graphics cards up to 400mm in length. Motherboards up to the ATX form factor are compatible. You can also install motherboards with a back-connect design – in this case, you should replace the power supply and a drive bracket to be able to use all drives. The CPU cooler should not exceed a height of 185mm. For storing programs and games, up to three drives can be installed in total.
