The GIGABYTE TRX50 AI Top is among the workstation motherboards for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 7000 CPUs and offers a multitude of features for the desktop workstation platform and AI training. The combination of the sTR5 socket and the TRX50 chipset is required for the "prosumer" processors of the Threadripper 7000 series to support their numerous business and professional functions.

Other important features of the GIGABYTE TRX50 AI Top motherboard include a WLAN/BT module (Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 QCNCM865, 802.11be) as well as two LAN ports with 10 Gbit/s (Marvell AQtion AQC113C).
