Modding
Case Modding
Not only can the interior of a case be individually modified and enhanced, but the case itself can also be jazzed up with numerous possibilities. These can be categorised into two: design and function, although the two sometimes go hand in hand.
Purely design-oriented modifications undoubtedly include stickers and lighting elements in the form of LED strips, as well as various spray paints or lacquers that can primarily enhance the case decoratively. However, the latter can also be used for repair purposes, such as covering up small cracks or similar issues.
Modding Cases Means Customisation
Soundproofing materials, which are already pre-cut for many cases, are more function-oriented and ensure that less noise escapes. This makes them particularly suitable for silent systems. Additionally, extra switches or buttons can be integrated into the case in various functional areas. There are many ways to enhance your case externally:
- Stickers
- Lighting
- Soundproofing
- Clear lacquer
- Switches & buttons
- Spray paint
- Spray paint nozzles
