Observatory Y AMD SE: Familiar case with new features

The Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE from the Observatory series is a premium case with innovative features, aimed specifically at RGB lovers and water cooling enthusiasts. Four Kolink Umbra PWM-ARGB fans are pre-installed on the front and rear to increase airflow while adding colourful accents. The spacious interior is easily accessible thanks to the removable side panels and offers enough space for your high-end hardware.

The Observatory Y AMD SE Midi-Tower is equipped with a variety of new features and improvements. Elegant tempered glass meets solid steel

By using high-quality materials, the Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE provides good support and stability for all installed hardware. The frame and casing are made of 0.7 mm thick SPCC steel and provide a robust structure for the housing. A hinged side panel made of tempered glass allows a glimpse into the inner workings of your precious computer.

The Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE has four pre-installed Kolink Umbra PWM-ARGB-fans. Three of them (120 mm) are on the front, the last one (140 mm) on the back. Because they are PWM fans, their speed adjusts to the workload - higher speeds are used when the workload is intense, while they require fewer revolutions for quieter operation when not in use. This supports the airflow provided by the ventilation and the mesh cover.

Alternatively, there are numerous options for installing fans and radiators throughout the entire case, making the Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE ideal for custom water cooling systems. The front panel offers space for three 120 mm or 140 mm fans. The panel can alternatively accommodate 240 mm, 280 mm, and 360 mm radiators. On the top, there is space for three 120 mm fans, two 140 mm fans, or a radiator up to 360 mm in size. The rear can accommodate a single 120 mm or 140 mm fan or radiator, while the cover of the PSU housing has brackets for two 120 mm fans. Thanks to the spacious interior, there is also room for a CPU cooler with a height of up to 175mm.

Outstanding hardware support

With its specially designed interior, the Observatory Y AMD SE offers excellent flexibility when it comes to the hardware to be installed. The mainboard tray can accommodate all mainboard form factors, including E-ATX, and supports seven expansion slots. A special graphics card holder supports your GPU and ensures that even particularly bulky pixel accelerators do not sag.

The Observatory Y AMD SE is compatible with the Kolink Vertical GPU Kit, which enables the vertical mounting of graphics cards. With clearance for up to 380 mm long cards, this enclosure can accommodate most triple-slot GPUs currently available.

In the lower part of the enclosure, the special power supply cover with a removable panel ensures easier access. Under the cover, there is space for an ATX power supply with a length of up to 190 mm and a vibration-damped drive cage for two 3.5-inch drives. In addition, the back of the mainboard tray has mounts for three 2.5-inch SSDs - a truly comprehensive and flexible support for your storage solution.

Top ventilation thanks to four ARGB fans

The black interior of the Observatory Y AMD SE provides the perfect stage for your RGB lighting, your impressive hardware or your sleeved cables. A hidden area for cable management behind the mainboard tray also ensures a tidy interior. This area is equipped with three Velcro strips and offers 30 mm of space to neatly route cables and lead them directly to the motherboard. The I/O panel is located directly above this area, including connections for 2x USB 3.1 Type A, 1x USB 3.1 Type C, 1x USB 2.0 und HD-Audio.

The four pre-installed Umbra ARGB fans not only impress with excellent cooling, but also provide a great light show with their ARGB lighting. The ARGB lighting can be customised with the Umbra ARGB Controller and downloadable software. Alternatively, the ARGB lighting can be adjusted via compatible software when connected to a 3-pin 5V ARGB header on the mainboard.
